When Mary and her husband discovered a few years ago that their son Dan was allergic to gluten, they had two options – find a gluten-free bread that tasted good and was healthy or stop eating bread altogether. Having tried several gluten-free bread options, they were unable to find one that Dan enjoyed, so they were left with the option to give up bread completely.
However, while attending the Canadian Health Food Association show one November, Mary came across Silver Hills Bakery and the Wheat Free Chia Chia bread. With nothing to lose, Mary took some home and put it to the test by making her son a sandwich. When he asked for another sandwich the next day, Mary knew she was on to something. She’s very grateful to have discovered a healthy, great tasting product so her son, and the rest of the family, can enjoy bread again.
